Hydrafacial uses vortex fusion to infuse active ingredients into the skin simultaneously with vacuum suction to remove dead skin and impurities. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and protection into one treatment. During the facial cleansing and exfoliation portion, the Activ-4 skin solution is used to deep clean and soften the sebum to prep the skin for extractions. The hydration that Activ-4 provides can help firm fine lines. It features three key ingredients that benefit the skin: glucosamine HCI to exfoliate, algae extract to calm and soothe, and lactic acid, which can help exfoliate but leaves the skin feeling firm and smooth. To further aid the skin in exfoliation, the glysal peel used in the next step combines glycolic acid and salicylic acid to resurface the skin. Glycolic acid helps boost collagen production, and salicylic acid helps treat acne and reduce redness. Beta HD Clear is used during extractions. It's excellent for oily and congested skin because it contains salicylic acid and willow bark. These ingredients will exfoliate the skin, removing dirt and debris from congested pores.
